    Hey everyone,

I will have been playing WGT for seven years next month and I've never had this problem before. I click on "Play Now" and it does absolutely nothing. Every several tries it will offer me a survey for $50 dollars worth of merchandise, yet then there is not even any way to complete the survey after answering several simple questions. I use Google Chrome so it should not even be an adobe flash player issue because Chrome has its own flash player built in. In fact, I installed an adobe upgrade that came recommended to me online a couple of years ago and it took away my ability even to play WGT anymore. That's why I switched from Mozilla Firefox to Google Chrome in the first place. I'm lost and my day count is obviously gone anyhow, so if anyone has any ideas for me to get back into the game I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks!

Type "http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx" directly into your browser. That will take you to the game client page. Or you can set your browser's start-up page to the game client page and never have to worry about the "play now" button again. I have done the latter for several years.

+1.  Makes speedy work of logging in and ensures smoother meter (less windows open).

Not sure why there would be less windows open. Every sane person closes every other window, before they start playing.

I tried opening it directly from the browser once, but hated the size of the window. I never play full screen, the meter's longer, therefore moves relatively faster and the dots are moving at a faster rate, could never get used to it. once you get to 1 gameclient size, it's tough to switch ,-) Plus, I had a choppier meter, when I tried a playing a few rounds on full screen.

You can adjust the game tab's size&position - best if it's a single window. I did it all the time before the free Putter Pals were introduced.

For grins, try the Play Now on the WGT home page, that currently takes you to the Virtual US Open. If that works, just click Explore WGT.

If you right click the one above your friends list, you'll see that its a Flash area. Right click the other and you get a normal link menu.
