The game follows the common principle of online games, "FTP - PTW". Thus, success is correlated to investment - pling, pling.
You chose a different path which is o.k., and you are very consistent, being around for 10 years. Kudos to that!
But, methinks that you might have advanced a tad more in 1,000 rounds - still I've no right to judge on you. Anyway, I'd like to see how you come around a round, if there are any traps that you might experience more than others... You are invited to ask if you wish.
But2, becoming better would mean to advance to Master tier, and the longer tees there might force you to buy better equipment. Your decision!
