    TO CLUB OWNERS

We have a very active club.....but if you are a club owner then you know active players are not easy to come by. And recruiting from WGT's players list is difficult since you have to click on hundreds of players only to find that the vast majority are already in a club or haven't played for months.

If your members enjoy interactive "LIVE" play and you have a few active players while most never play and have considered merging with an active club please read our club advertisement: (and contact me if interested).

Don't think merging CC's is possible. They would have to close their club and get their members to join yours and what happens if they have more members than your CC has room for??

We would welcome you to our club mate if you wish.

You could bring all your events and run them from here.

One problem could be that we tend to use teamspeak not skype, but i know some in club still do prefer skype.

Another stumbling block could be you wish a club to join you instead.

Anyway, just contact me if interested.

If not then good luck moving forward.

Thanks Bubbs. I notice that you do a lot of play-alone WGT format tournaments (which is more like "practice" not "play"). We don't do any play-alones....we use that format to create a "credits purse" ONLY.

All of our tournaments are interactive LIVE play "credits" tournaments (although anyone can PAL [Play-A-Long] FREE in any tournament if they don't have the credits). And we have handicaps (USGA method) so that all tiers can compete with an equal chance of winning.

We have a very active friendly group (like family) who love our format and are attempting to add to our family of players. I know there are a lot of players out there who love playing for credits (because they are "playing alone" in Ready-Goes all the time). We are offering these players the same experience....except in "interactive LIVE play" tournaments with communication (skype_ 'which we feel is the link between WGT and REAL golf'). Thanks though for the offer.

    Bill

Most of the clubs out there are only 35%-50% active with everyone else playing only 6 to 8 times a year....Our club is 90% active. The Ideal is to have an active club where the members enjoy weekly active interactive LIVE play tournaments. So we are interested only in merging with the active players of any club that is interested. Some clubs are on the verge of closing due to inactivity or where even the club owner is inactive....active players in such clubs deserve better....and we are offering that.

Yes I know....That's why we have a Management Team (officers), who make all decisions after discussing all matters with the entire club on skype to get their votes. So any mergers would have to except that every member has a say in any decisions made and reserve the right to vote on any changes. In fact the decision to merge have already been discussed by the members and approve by the management Team.

Black Diamond just did a successful merger with Irish Ex-Pats.  We picked up 18 of there 30 players, and still counting.  (Just started the merger 5 days ago.)

I will note I had discussions with other owner off and one for several weeks.  I also alerted the directors well in advance.  I did not go as far as Lexmark suggested and open up discussion to entire club, nor do I think most members care as long as nothing changes nature of the club.

But above comments about wanting compatible type players and club practices are correct.

    Tom.
