  Hello WGT people,

  Long time player here, master tier level 66,  with a perplexing query:  I cannot invite my amateur friend to play.  Okay...so it's my wife...she's amateur at leve 26.  She can invite me but it's only on random "3 or 9 hole" places that WGT picks.  What's up with that?  I've emailed WGT twice about it.  First reply was "we'll check in to it."  No reply on 2nd inquiry weeks later.

  On what devices are you playing - mobile or PC?

  Be aware that cross platform play doesn't work.

  We are both playing on iPads.   What's weird is I remember when I first started as an amateur I would get invites from masters all the time.  What has changed?

  Looks like you are over the legal friend limit of 255. Try again once you drop about 40 some friends.

  What Zio is referring to is an oddity of sorts with the friends list. When you have more than 255 friends the list gets unpredictable. 256 is an important number to a computer and WGT didn't provide for this when they set it up. As a result, you see what you're seeing now.

  Get your list under 256 and you should see the problem solve itself.

  I don't like it as well either but...I'm diggin' the thump-thump heartbeat when I hit close. Also, now that I got my wife on board after all these years with her favorite device, the iPad mini, it's sort of key for me. 😉

  It's tedious as it is on a PC, can't imagine what it's like on a phone. I'd wait until you're at a PC. The fastest way to cull your friends list is to go to your profile, expand your friends list, right click on a player and open the page in a new tab. Do this as many times as you need to and then go to each page, delete the friend and close it. ( If the "delete friend" button is missing, refresh the page.)

  That's a premium which I don't have. But, she's tolerant to real and online golf ;)
