This game has become unplayable.  The meter actually stops for a full second, then winds up passed the 'ding' spot.  Perhaps WGT should invest some of their profits on more servers or other hardware.  Don't bother playing on early evenings or weekends.

Now that I find myself lamenting over this meter issue, again, why are putts always with a nice smooth meter, but longer shots are jerky and sticky?  Don't insult my intellengence by saying it my computer.

Just wiish WGT would fess up and stay, "that is our intention".

I wouldn't if you only spelled it correctly ;)

The game doesn't connect to WGT for the running meter. Thus, it's indeed a local issue, with CPU + memory + LAN loads as some of the critical elements.

Hopefully, your local IT administrator can help you to prepare your systems. Otherwise, there's plenty of information to search =>

Hate to take wgt's side, but if it were their fault, everyone would be having the same issue.  You have to work hard at getting a smooth meter.  Find out how to shut down most comp functions so comp can concentrate on gaming. Gamebooster is a good free program as is advanced systemcare.   Also shut off a lot of unnecessary features in game option.  (Putting flash quality to med or low helps a lot.)  I have a smooth meter 99% the time and I'm no computer genius.
