Is it not possible to remove credits or winnings earned from tournaments etc? As i've looked around my profile and don't seem to be able to find such a facility otherwise what is the point of spending money to buy clubs and enter tournaments if you get no winnings back

The main point is just to have fun playing. You can spend nothing and play with the beginner or starter clubs and balls and just play the free tourneys and have fun playing or you can spend as much as you want and play.

There is an option to spend your credits in the pro shop Elite collection but you have to be very very good to win enough credits to buy anything there. The least expensive things in the elite collection are $250 gift cards from Amazon,American Express or Golf Smith but they cost 165,000 credits. Most of us couldn't win enough to ever buy anything but there have been a few people who have won enough to buy a gift card.

So if it distracts someone even only slightly,

It's not distracting at all. What are you guys discussing in this forum? LOL.

I have always used PayPal for my online purchases and since I buy and sell a lot of sporting equipment and cards on EBAY it works well.  You can link Paypal to a credit card and a bank account and pick your method for each purchase although one will be the default.

I have never had a billing problem with Paypal and their dispute resolution department has served me well and the few occaions when something went wrong, usually a shipment that didn't arrive from a seller.  They are owned by EBAY and thus have to work well to allow all those transactions.

I used paypal to buy credits but the first time i used a moneypak card. It is like a pre-paid credit card. paypal will want you to link your account with a credit card but just call them and tell them you dont have one if you dont want to link it to the paypal account. another way to buy credits is to use a pre-paid credit card and buy credits right through wgt. both of these ways never link a credit card to your account which is the way i prefer it (much safer) for me anyway. Had my debit card stolen a few times and those two ways are safer.
