I have heard horror stories of people using a debit or credit card to buy credits. Either they get double charged or charged the wrong amount or whatever. I was wondering if I put 20 bucks into my paypal acct and purchased clubs, there is no way i could get charged any more than what's in there already?

If I used a debit card, and they took out 20 bucks and double charged me then I would have an overdraft on that acct and get charged 39 bucks for it. I use two debit cards...one with money in it and the other with just a limited amt of money for things like this.

In other words, is Paypal the safest route just in case the wrong charge happens? In other words, if there is only 20 bucks in my paypal acct, there is no possible way i can get charged for 40 bucks? Right?

any help would be great. I usually do surveys but i can't qualify for some reason and its getting frustrating. I just want the clubs and get it over with.

A lot of people use paypal on here and guess its real safe! I purchase with my card and have had no problems. Just double check the amount of credits you're buying! 2.00 sometimes can look like 20.00.

You should never get double charged. Many times what happens is the type of payment people use incurs 3rd party charges from their banks for example. Also, multiple submissions may end up is similar situation.

If this does happen, just email members@worldgolftour.coma and they usually fix it within a few days

Be aware also Rich, that a paypal account may be linked to a credit card(or debit) and as such Paypal may take their money from that source before they use any money that may be within the paypal account-for instance that which you deposited. And I'm not even gibberishing.

    PS.

Is that you in your profile picture? A figure like that could earn enough creds to buy anything you want with just one tasteful photoshoot on a desert Island advertising washing powder.

My paypal is linked to a small checking acct not a credit or debit card. I was gonna transfer like 20 bucks into it and use that. I didnt know paypal charges for purchases.

I used to use Paypal for my credit purchases but found that it is just as easy and just as safe to use my debit card. I have had no problems buying credits either way. Just remember to double check everything before clicking to finalize the purchase. Most of the horror stories about members being double charged was due to the member making an error during the purchase. Like clicking the browser back key which could very well make it appear that they made 2  separate purchases. Also double clicking during the purchase could also make it appear to be 2 separate purchases. A little common sense will keep the horror stories from happening to you.
