Universal Country Club has none of the features that people usually join clubs for. It doesn't have any annoying rules or people telling you what to do. There's no questionnaire to fill in to join, just click and you're in. There's no competitions that you must play in or rules dictating how often you must play for the club, you just play when you want or not at all, it's your choice, you're free to enjoy your golf in your own way.
So if you are looking for the usual internet hassle of loudmouths telling you what to do and demanding that you play a certain number of times a week and that you bow down to the club directors and all that grief, then Universal is not a club for you.
If you prefer taking it easy, maybe picking up the sticks now and again, going about your own game at your own pace, maybe giving a shout out to your fellow club members every now and again, then Universal would be seriously happy to have you.
The club is small, around forty semi-active players, it's been open for a year or more, there's no superstars but the bar is open, just help yourself. There's only really one rule, just keep it friendly, that's all. No expectations, no hassles, no worries.
See you on the course.
