  To give some feedback - things have been better since Fri 14th - but there is no obvious reason why the start date - or improvement date - are the ones they are - at least in terms of what I know about.

  A good clean of the C-drive - and an almost immediate windows 10 update - have helped a lot.

  I can get through 9 holes now without the lagging - but it still needs a restart after 10 or so - to get the green dots back to normal.

  So, progress perhaps - but not fully solved. Will have to try other things too.

  Here is another idea.. Unplug your router from the power cord, leave it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

  I still think you should try Driver Booster to make sure all your software is up to date. All you are trying could be pointless if all your drivers are not updated.

  You could also try Speed Test to double check your internet speed and/or for packet loss.

  You have not mentioned if you have tried another browser ! By eliminating all the above it will be much easier to help you instead of guessing all sorts of things of what it could be. 

  Another one to try is Patch My PC to check for driver updates. Just remember you can always remove these and any other programs at the end of testing so they do not have to stay on your PC.

  This is a nice programme. I had 18 old drivers - and my PC performance is now much better. Thanks.

  I also did the router disconnect and Speed Test (very fast - a wired connection).

  But the problem with WGT/Flash is not resolved. Still needing to restart browser after 6-7 holes.

  I have NOT yet changed browser, but that is the next logical step. I tried Maxthon for a bit once, and may soon try again - so long as its got an ad-blocker - lol.

  Yo skip, sorry to read of your problems mate.  Just to let you know I have used Maxthon since member @ UM, it has a built-in ad-blocker that is adequate for WGT use.

  Be well, bit busy with new job but perhaps catch you for a match some soon.

  oh...nearly forgot.   Maxthon did an automatic update thing sometime back and I could get on with the newer version, I'm still using Maxthon 3.  T

  Thanks Thomas - and today it all went back to normal again!

  I tried everything - a new browser, a new mouse (with a 500 polling rate) - and all the rest, but nothing helped.

  Until today - following a WGT update - which seems to have ironed-out the problems..... for now at least.

  I suppose I'm lucky it lasted only 3 weeks!
