  Play wgt regularly on an android tablet and it's been fine. However following the recent update allowing you to change your avatar, the whole game has become so 'jerky' it's virtually unplayable.

  Anyone else experiencing this ?

  Mine is just the same, not better nor worse.

  What's the symptom exactly? The swing metre being so jerky that it's not playable?

  Mine actually loads up slow at times. The loading of next image after a shot sometimes takes forever, but this has been that way before the update of new avatar option.

  I just played a random 3 on my Android and it played fine. Weird.

  Thanks for your reply. The swing meter is so jerky as to be virtually unplayable for a couple of shots and then fine for the next one. The whole game is jerkier than before and seems to be taking longer to load.

  Hmmm... It is quite strange.

  It might be something else than WGT itself. Have you installed any (new) apps lately? Track down any changes occured to your device.

  In my case, I play WGT on a tablet in which only essential applications are installed since I treat it as my "WGT station" and don't do much other than playing this golf game. I get 99% of the time silky smooth swing metre.

  My tablet hasn't gotten the update yet (Amazon Fire) but my phone has. Played on both this morning, and the meter was the same on both. I think Simon's right, something else is going on with your tablet.
