Can not you pause a game to continue later? How is it done?
On a PC ... but you can only save the one.
On a mobile you're on your own.
For mobile, simply close the app. When you open the app again, it will give you the option to forfeit or resume.

Works on PC, too: Just close the game window, no need for the "save" action.
In both cases, practice games will not be saved but only solo play and ranked/rated games.
