I've been playing almost everyday for years and yesterday the shot meter started lagging. My flash player is up to date and I'm using Firefox v55. I tried playing today and my shots are being totally messed up because of the shot meter being jerky I keep missing the sweet spot. Anyone else having this problem or have any idea what it could be? thanks, Charley

Use the search box to find different ways to fix your meter.  It is a problem on your computer as the meter is controlled by your PC.  Among things to try are clearing your browser history and flash cache.

I haven't been able to fix it but tried on chrome browser and it works fine so I will just use chrome.

I've had the same problem - but unfortunately chrome is worse.  Microsoft Edge is nice and smooth - but the timing of the mouse click and the click acceptance fluctuates.  So gameplay for me sucks right now.

There are several browsers that work better than chrome or edge. Pale Moon works very well on my system as does  Comodo Dragon version 29.1 and Comodo Ice Dragon. Another good one if you can find the older version is Srware Iron version 23.0. Basically many older versions of chrome based browsers before Google started  requiring pepper flash in all chrome based browsers works very well.

I have been using Maxthon for 3 years or so now and have little or no problem with meter lag. I use an older version and an older version of Flash. All works ok for me.

I do however make sure to clean my flash and browser caches regularly. If I miss the meter I don't blame anyone but my poor hand/eye coordination !

Since I just play this game for fun and am now really no longer bothered with scores etc it all suits me fine

Pale Moon seems to be very smooth.  Thank you.

I also clear my cache regularly.  Who doesn't ?

And it's not about the score - I'm well past the point of saturation.  And my "average" has been 60.xx for a couple years and I'm fine with it - especially since my "average" should be about 64.xx - 65.xx

But when you play basketball you want the ball to bounce fairly well - otherwise it's no fun.  Same thing.
