Hello Ladies and Gents.   My question is regarding putting.  Next to the ball/swing control are two white arrows. They only appear when putting.  They are not the arrows that speed up the trajectory of the ball.  They usually appear facing to the left and right.  In this mode, the break of the green is still moving.    If I touch them,  they will then appear up and down and freeze the break of the green in a straight line.  What is the purpose of these arrows?   I can find no reference to them on any post or anywhere online.  Some golfers will tell me to use them but I have no idea how.

    Hey h2odivr222,

This is just a button to speed up the animation of the golf ball's trajectory and eventual resting place based upon your shot. It definitely should not freeze the game and does not change any of the game mechanics that influences where your ball will go.

If you continue to have the game freeze, please shoot us an email at Members@worldgolftour.com

    Cheers,

The green isn't freezing, the direction the dots are moving changes to show you the slope. One arrow gets you left to right, the other gets you front to back. That's the way it is on the PC and I'm assuming mobile is the same.

*edit-It's the same, just checked.  :-)

    Apologies h2odivr222,

I misread the specific arrows you were speaking of. Glad YankeeJim was there to save the day in reference to the arrows you were inquiring about.

    Cheers!

Those dots will also be slow moving or fast moving indicating more slope or less slope. Use them to add or decrease your putt speed  if they show fast speed on a downhill putt you better slack off of putt speed. Same if showing uphill speeds. Add more power to faster dots.
