When creating a CC Tourney apart from the fact the options to design the game are few, the text box for the Tournament description has NO Formatting once submitted.
I recently put up a set of Srixon Balls for the Leaders in a club tourney.
I also created a Thread in the Club Forum describing the finer details of the Tourney complete with Srixon Images etc.
The text field box when setting up the Club Tournament Description allowed me to format my paragraphs so as to be easy to read. Full stops, comma's, paragraphs etc. A link to the Tourney Forum Thread was on a line on its own.
Members were informed in this Description of the Tourney that they need to post their results in the Forum Thread, for time stamp validation, in the event of 2 or more identical scores. A link to the Thread provided
The resulting text was abysmal and no preview/ edit option available.
There were NO paragraphs, the text was a single block of letters. Spaces between sentences were eliminated, the thread link, just became the address itself without link, hidden in the big block of text.
This needs to be remedied please.
Formatting options like we have in the Forums would be nice or even just the ability to render spaces, paragraphs and links.
Sunsequently bunches of people played the Tourney, couldnt understand all the garble so didt get the thread or guidlines.
I ended up having to manually message all the folks that didnt post their score in the thread.
And because the message system here has no sound alert and the green alert is so small ... and because most people ignore WGT emails because of Multiple Duplicate Emails ..
We still have many that haven't posted their score...
When they come to me and ask why they didn't get their prize, I will link them to this thread.
Oh and in the Site Suggestions thread, I have mentioned check boxes for Multiple Messaging by Club Owners.
