Hi. I need help concerning Course Builder.

Okay, so I already know about the option that members of country clubs can create their own tournaments. I have also played some of these tournaments that other country club members have created. Some of these are custom hole-by-hole tournaments. What I mean is that when you play these tournaments, each hole is different. For example, hole 1 is on St. Andrews, but hole 2 is on Chambers Bay and hole 3 is on Merion, and so on.

I tried to create an 18-hole tournament like that, but my only option i could see was that you could only select ONE COURSE and its own set of holes. I had no option I could see where you could select a different course for each hole.

I thought that maybe my problem was that I was creating the course on my IPad using the mobile version of the game and that option was only available on the computer. So I tried using my Mac with a Safari browser to create the tournament I wanted with custom holes. However, I ran into the same problem. I couldn't see that option.

Now I could have created my own tournament through my country club without paying for it, but I decided to purchase a Course Builder using MY OWN 400 CREDITS thinking that was the only way I could create my own custom hole-by-hole course. But I don't see a way to do that, so I am getting frustrated because I should be able to have that option if it is possible and I paid good money to do so.

Am I missing something here? Can you help me with this problem? Thanks.

    Sonnnic

You need to speak with your CC Owner. Undoubtedly he has the permissions set in your CC to only allow certain members to create custom courses.

    +1!

Furthermore, Course Builders are not used to build a custom course, and they belong to the CC. So, the upside of your action was that you gifted a couse builder to your CC!

Members can build and modify custom courses in their CC for free, provided they get special permission by their CC owner, and there is a free slot (10 in total, and it would be rude to delete one at random!

The coveted Course Builders are used in a second step to create a tournament from a custom course. Courses can be used multiple times.

You can only build a course on computer. Period. There is no other way for a mobile to do it. A mobile can start one that's been created already , but you have to access and do it on the computer side of the site. The Mobile format does not have the capability for custom course set ups yet, you can only play them. Enjoy!
