I really agree that putting/short game practice is essential to the game. Putting is nearly 1/2 of the game, and DOES consist of 1/2 the game if played a completely even round with 100% GIR and hit fairways. For putting/short game practice, the following should be considered:

    • Custom ball locations, placeable by the player
    • Ability to place OFF green for chip, pitch and flop shots AND sand recovery practice
    • Choice of any hole on any available course, potentially including a generic "practice green" that is not any of the 18 holes on the course

A smoother swing meter would be nicer, but sometimes it might just be the user's PC. My concern about the swing meter though: While I understand that less expensive clubs have less forgiveness, the randomization factor put into the various ranges seems to be a bit off. Heck even an "Excellent" can be off! I've seen myself hit an excellent on what seems like a flat lie, moving my aim towards the wind to compensate, only to end up starting my shot in the opposite direction.

Regardless, being off by 1 or 2 marks from the excellent mark should not punish as harshly as it seems like it does at times. It needs a little more consistency in its adjustment. Not specifically less change on the shot, just a little more consistency in that range of how it effects the ball.

And just quick one sentence summarizing about less important but still good features:

Left handed mode would be nice for some. Why does the list still say '"Multiplayer closest to the hole" if we already have blitz mode? I'd rather see some other features added/fixed than new courses. I hope shorter timers and fees for multiplayers (I assume this is credits) would be OPTIONAL and not affect existing practices, as I have friends that play casually on here with me, so if they disconnect it's just their own Internet issues.

Oh and a pony would be nice.

Yes, but I pay attention to detail and how things work as somebody with a background in programming, so I also know what helps and what folks would like. For example, new courses would be nice BUT shouldn't come before other things that may be important.

I do understand my comments on the meter can indeed be debated, hence why I approached it from a more consistency angle than a "THIS GAME SUX ITS TOO HARD LOLOL" angle. Looking at golf in real life, being just a slight bit off the same way in identical conditions SHOULD produce nearly identical shots. Though as the amount of the bar away from the excellent increases, the amount of inconsistency would increase still. I'm not asking for a drastic change in numbers and calculations and randomness. Just a small change.

Regardless of my comments about the meter, the putting green would benefit everybody, as again, it IS 1/2 of the game and positioning the ball where ever you want is an important part of that. Drive it 400 yards all you want, it won't matter if you can't get it close enough to the hole to get a good putt OR putt all that well when you ARE far away.

PS I hope that wasn't simply a comment pointing out that I have no room to talk about anything. Would seem a bit rude.

why dont they just remove the 10 stoke restriction in the practice mode then you can get to the green and putt different putts till you get bored. and chips pitchs ect  to
