  I was wondering what do you mean by having friends or deleting friends causes changes in game?  I play this have shot 10 under but only once and can't see how 57 58 is possible....

   

  are they cheating someway?

  Er, take the below with a grain of salt. It worked well for a bit, but then I had all kinds of weird troubles. There are warnings re: wireless networks and shared resources when doing this on a Mac, so it may not always be effective.

  Any Mac users having issues should also read this link, as following these steps has made the game MUCH better for me. Way smoother.

  Leatrix Latency Fix isn't supported on Macs. However, you can achieve lower latency in OSX by entering the following command in a terminal window. This will disable delayed acknowledgements until you restart your computer.
  
  sudo sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack=0
  
  To disable them permanently, create a text file under "/etc/" called "sysctl.conf" and copy/paste the following line then restart your computer.
  
  net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack=0

  Good question.  Yes I did, even though you could see it land on the far bank.

  You mean the far bank that counts as out of bounds?

  Thanks. I will check it out and see what happens.  It does say that it can't fix a bad provider issues, and that is what my issue is.  But certainly worth a try.  cheers.

   

  Update:   Tried it and it does nothing to solve the problem, which confirms for me that it is service provider related.  I am actually in Peru and my service is with telefonica, and they suck.  Everyone has issues with them.  My download speed can sink to 54kbs sometimes and the latency rate is more often than not over 1200ms.  Tomorrow Claro is supposed to come and see about installing here.  The building is not wired for them so they have to install from the roof down.  Should be interesting. lol  If that does not solve the problem, I might need to give up.
