VogieScratch:Agreed. I stopped using the caddy for that reason. I make enough mistakes on my own without the caddy handing me a wrong club. I get the irony here. Choosing to make my own club selection sort of contradicts my original post theme of saving time.
It's inevitable - auto aiming is plain bs!
With or without a Caddy, prepare to go through the full pre-shot routine each and every time you set up a shot - that's the way it works!
