If you were going to join a club, what would you look for in a country club. Communication, friendly club members, variety of green speed tournaments, no pressure to play the clash. how about other country club members to play against. I am interested to know what you think.

I would look for a club that actively seeks new members, welcomes new members, and shares information with new members. In any kind of club, or organization, new members are the lifeblood of the future. Without a steady stream of new people, what you have is stagnation. I would look for a club that has a lot of club tournaments, and a lot of variety in the club tournaments. I would look for a club where the members participate in the club tournaments. Some clubs even have an online presence away from the game. In other words, they have websites where various activities and communication takes place.

Members jump from one club to the other for a gambit of reasons.  My sticking point is team speak and not being forced to type to communicate.  You need to soul search and find your personal requirements and see if they fit any of the clubs. Just my two cents.

+1 Picking a club will depend on what the player wants and how well the chosen club fits those needs . Me I have always liked the laid back no drama clubs . Not really a lot of pressure to play and the freedom to play as I want . I think at times that some club owners are too over expecting in player participation .

We all have a life outside of this game and greater responsibilities as well . Some clubs have the attitude that this game is supposed to come first in a players life , and thats not the case . So a club that is flexible and has realistic expectations is definitely a must .
