Actually this year they are but it took them a few season's to get there. Cashman pulled some serious moves in the past 3 years and they went from a sorry farm system to one of the best AND got the payroll down for luxury tax purposes.
Now there's no easy out, 1 through 9, and this brings the Yankees back to Evil Empire status. Haters will have a field day. :-D
