Lutjanid:Since the coins are worthless anyway you have actually lost nothing to be reimbursed.
I have read this and even stated myself that coins are "worthless" to a certain extent...but they do have value as a "currency" on the mobile platform, WGT does charge players for them if they choose to buy them and they do and can serve a purpose when playing at the lower levels especially if you choose to use them to rent club sets that can save you credits by delaying purchases at the lower levels until higher level equipment is unlocked.
So, the extent to which they are "worthless" is relative to the player...for desktop players they have absolutely no value whatsoever. To new mobile players they can definitely serve a purpose and help save money by not buying or earning credits...
To the long term mobile player, they serve a role in regards to participating in coin matches during turf wars...
That said, just because they are deemed "worthless" to some does not mean they are "worthless" entirely to everyone especially those that use them on the mobile platform. I found more value in them as I was getting started and less value in them now but it is a matter of perspective and how you play the game.
