Re: Unable to delete custom courses

  Hey everyone,

       I have full permissions regarding custom courses, but there is no option for me to delete the custom courses.  Since our CC has used all 10 slots, I’m unable to create a new custom course.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  If you have the permissions granted by your club owner, go to the create custom course button. You will have to delete a custom course before you can add one. You can only delete a custom course that you have personally made. You can not delete a custom course that is currently active. If that doesn’t work, maybe the owner is the only one that can delete a custom course that someone else has made. 

  You will see the trash can icon on far right if you have the ability to delete.

  I think that is where the problem lies, I was recently given permissions; none of the courses were created by me.  Thank you both for your helpful responses; I really appreciate it!  I’ll inquire further with my CC members to see if they can delete the ones they created.

  I'm pretty sure if you didn't create the course you can't delete it, only the creator can.  I'm the owner of my club and I have full permission for everything, but can only delete the courses that I personally created.  You must get whoever created them in your club and ask them to delete to clear up the space for a new one

  We have 10 Custom courses in our CC....5 were built by members who are no longer with our CC and I'd like to delete and set new 1's. There is 1 course I myself built and have the ability to delete that one, but I want to keep it, so that's no help to me. Has WGT given permissions to the owners of CC's to do this? My club has just transferred ownership to another member and he doesn't have this permission. It makes no sense that an owner of a CC doesn't have full control of his CC and it's required that the builder of the course delete it (even though they're no longer with the CC.....I'm not sure they can even access our CC tournaments anymore now that they're no longer CC members). Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks a lot.....Jim (Valley of the Sun CC)
