  Match Play is my favorite mode yet i will create a game and sit there for fifteen minutes without a single person even entering the lobby let alone people entering and then leaving.

  You might like to consider friending the other members of your country club - I'm sure several of them would welcome some matchplay games with you,

  Many 'randoms' prefer the Alt Shot type games

  I find that one-on-one situations with strangers tend to get weird.  A lot of guys get out of line.  That can happen in any game mode, but match is the worst.

  Im not judging, just answering the OP's question, at least how I see it.

  Because HenryKawa beat them all into oblivion and they now feel depressed and defeated.  Post on Henry's wall...he'll tell you.
