  If I run out of balls (highly unlikely), no, no, while playing a game, will the prompt come up and tell me to purchase more??

  Maybe a loophole to keep receiving them ?

  Just askin, not being facetious, like some people I know. LOL

  I found a 2008 Tiger Nike ball playing real golf today.

  It was in great condition, but a POS. Somehow it went directly into the lake, WTF is up with that?

  My Titleist's never do that.

  Nope! You only get the offer when the balls are available in the Pro shop!

  I've long relied on buying on the spot, until they made a mess out of it. So it happened to me once upon the time that I used up one type of L33 Callies when a replacement had been introduced. This left me on Starter balls mid-round.

  You also don't get the in-game offer if you have received a ball above your level (once had the pleasure thanks to caring moderators). No replacement purchase => Starters...

  Haha, I could see it. Only thing is I'm a displaced west-coaster. First half of life in So-Cal and then moved here to God's country, nowhere near that mess on the Atlantic.  Whole different world in Upstate NY.  :-)
