Looks pretty visible to me, no need to make it more so if that idea is true?

Really, no matter what the reason the dot is up, it would be good if it was consistent in any lie.

If you're a player who doesn't normally touch the spin, I know a few, I would think the results would be confusing at least and perhaps inconsistent between fairway and rough.

    andyson:

Since my ding % is ~25% it would take me many attempts and hours to get just two comparable shots.  Then the low precision of my raptures comes into play, plus wind variations, rough variations (is it 30% or 40%?) throw in deviations and VEM not liking me these days and my results would be inconclusive.

You could ask one of WGTs QA testers to do it?

Or ask a dev to check it out?

I think you made my point. Yes, I will concede that I am not 100% sure if it's center or ts. But it also may just be a way for us to make sure spin dot is seen. Also, with all those points you have stated, I am not sure there will be a definite proof versus ns and 1/2 ts. one would have to do it dozens of times, then plot it and figure it out.

it's been this way ever since I remember and seems to work right.

maybe it's best not to mess with it
