Question.. Can anyone answer ?   I have recently been designated Tour master... YAY...TY WGT... My avg. was 62.9... My first game I was lucky enough to shoot a -3... my avg jumped up to 64... What happened ?  Why did my avg go up ?

When you tier up, your average "resets." In other words, basically, your average is calculated on ranked rounds within that tier. Scores from previous tiers are not used for calculating your current average.

Right on the money, and congrats to the promotion!

Sometimes, it's a tad confusing that players see themselves in the new tier with the last (& best) average from the former tier. As he said, "TM with 62.9". This should be read as "new TM with the last Master average being 62.9"

The first true average in the new tier is only generated in the next round...

And now you have to shoot -7 for 9 holes just to move .01
