What really slows you down when playing a quickie is one of two things .
1 - on a long green the ball can run very slowly up to the hole and just meander another 30 feet past on a slight down slope .
2 - chipping uphill on a gradient the ball stops 5 feet short , stops and then decides to gradually run slowly back to your feet or worse .
When you are playing a clash against the clock and are trying to get a quick score it can be frustrating to be timed out on the last hole .
