For the last 24 hours my meter has released before I lifted my finger from the mouse button.  Any advise?

They just put out an Adobe Flash update. Clear your Cache and flash storage and then try it.

Mine was fine after I did that.

    Sounds like a bad mouse.

I agree with Gary. A good way to check if it is a worm out mouse button is to go to your mouse settings in Windows Control panel and switch the functions of the right and left button. Make the right button the button you use to take your shot. As the right button isn't used as much as the left it should be in much better shape than your left button. If you mouse works as it should you know that your left ,mouse button is worm out and your mouse needs to be replaced.

Questions:  Wired or wireless mouse? How does mouse work on other sites? What browser are you using? Details, like these, will help you to discover the solution to your problem. We can offer lots of ideas but you need to clearly state your situation to get the best of our ideas.

I read some where in the forums that the meter will release automatically after 15 seconds. Might want to check that.

Thanks for your help.  It was the wireless mouse after all.  New batteries helped a little but only a replacement cured the problem.
