I am having a persistent issue with meter stutter playing on multiple Apple devices. It has been going on for almost a year and will impact my game play for anywhere from 1 to 15 holes. Most of the time it will last for 3-6 holes and then disappear. I can usually see it coming on before it happens – the graphics become kind of pixilated and a little slow to refresh. I have had this issue across 4 Apple devices – iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 4, iPhone 7 Plus and a brand-new iPad 9.7”. I usually get between 120-300Mbps on my home network but it has also happened across many networks – hotels, coffee shops, etc. I have used all the tactics WGT has recommended – frequent device reboots, no other apps operating at the same time, turned off shadows & vibrations, turned off app background refresh and uninstall/reinstall the app periodically. I thought that getting a new device might help but I had the same issue for about 4 holes this morning and 6 holes this evening. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue on a consistent basis on a mobile device. I saw some complaints about this PCs but not on mobile devices. I would greatly appreciate any feedback that might help me find a solution.

Turn off everything you don't need in the wgt game settings is really all you can do. Use the lowest flash setting you can get away with (medium is good for me). Switch browsers also? My settings are below, using Chrome with a decent meter on an ancient PC...........

Display hole in 1 challenges = no
Ball speed boost = N/A (or none)
Use ball speed boost on green? = no
Flash quality = Medium (this is a biggy for bad meters, etc - so they say)
    Show WGT lessons = off
    Transparent avatar = off
     Virtual caddy =show caddy
    Distance markers = on
    Aerial multi-cam = on
    Aim arc = on
    Camera pans = on
    reflections = off
    Putting grid = off
    Hole info display = off
    Ball trails replay = off
    Flag animation = off
End of game messages = off
    Putter pal display = on
    Shot pal display = on
    Show available surveys = no
    Show credit offers = no
Pip animation during putt = off
Show swing meter boost = off
    Tee shot data = off
Also you can clear your flash with this link:

I appreciate you responding Donald - I don’t have most of the settings you mention here on the app on my iPad. But I will try turning off the putting power tip and see if that helps. Thanks again!

I’m playing on IPad Pro. Whenever I have an issue like you mention, its internet  strength related.

I appreciate the response but most of the time I play from home where I have a strong signal and I get between 120-300 Mbps through Comcast. But it happens on various networks.

The maxthon browser certainly helped a lot as well but it is not supported by wgt therefore you need to use windows or the others which are supported to post a link which is one-clickable, not a huge problem lol. As for flash player I guess you get the latest version via windows updates?

Having said that the laptop and broadband was what sorted it out for me. All I get now are finger farts lol.
