I've set up a CC tourney paying the top 10 spots with added prize $. After 2 rounds there are now only 7 active. I know that in WGT tourneys if say there are only 60 players in a top 70 payout tourney, WGT just simply doesn't pay spots 61-70 yet the first 60 prizes remain unchanged. I am wondering if anyone knows if the same applies to a CC tourney? In this case, at least the bottom 3 spots of the tournament I sponsored won't be paid out -- so will WGT just keep this in their pocket? 🤨

I don't know where you got your information but it is totally incorrect,

    This is the correct info

If there are fewer than 70 players entered in a tier, the payout rules are as follows:

    • Money (or credits) will be paid out as normal to the winners as if there were 70 people in the tier.
    • For each position that doesn't exist, the money (or credits) will be put into a pool as unawarded.
    • Total up the money that was awarded.
    • Calculate the percentage of the money each person received that was awarded.
    • Give each person that percentage of the unawarded pool.

The entire tournament purse will be paid out regardless of how many entrants there are in the tournament.

    +1

It should also apply to WGT tournaments.

Beware that the company keeps the purse if no player shows a score at the final round!
