I would say it is indeed money wasted. There is nothing waiting for you at level 109 so no need to hurry to get there.
They are only good for, up to level 74.
Very true but it's possible the OP is also referring to XP boost to enable you to level up faster.
Either way, a waste of credits in my opinion.
Thank's for your answers, in summary buy level up boost is equivalent to throwing money through the windows, except very special conditions to access the level 74.

With the Custom Course XP Boost you can level up pretty fast. Just a thought
