Accepting any advice, comments, hints , suggestions, etc playing mobile WGT app. Have ONLY ever played desktop version on my laptop & am completely unfamiliar with mobile app, Any input from seasoned  mobile players welcome. I just recently downloaded mobile app to my tablet, & have noticed format seems completely different & foreign to me.

Two questions stand out. Am I to assume play stats carry over between the 2 apps, & is there the capability to only play practice games on the mobile app until we become familiar  with ithe app, so as not to mess up our stats?.Advance thanks to all.  Slimjym

First question i have no knowledge of,sorry. Second, yes. Go to courses then pick your course, hit practice. At this point you can set your conditions and off you go. One thing to be aware of in the mobile version is that only ranked rounds and tournament rounds affect your average. None of the hth counts for anything, except accrueing coins! GL and look out for the kooks.

I play mainly on my tablet but play the PC version now and then. The stats do cross over both platforms as well as your credits. You can play practice holes and rounds on mobile. A point of difference is the coin rooms on mobile. And I'm pretty sure you can play the same tournaments in your country club on mobile and PC. There is probably a lot more info but I haven't played the PC version enough to comment more.

Tap on courses in the menu and select your course. Then you have the option to play random 3 front or back 9 and full 18 and all can be played in the practice mode, But if your your average is saturated it is not going to hurt your stats anyway. Because let's  face it most of our stats are meaningless anyway.  They don't reset when we tier up like our average does.,If they did they would be ,much more meaningful, But as it stands mine are based on a little over 9 years of play with maybe the first year or so just hacking around learning the nuances of the game.

    Hi Scott,

Appreciate the FAQ  & answers you just sent me today regarding mobile app questions I had. It's EXACTLY what I was hoping to find. You've saved my "bacon" more than once in the past & once again with your help today.

The only question I have now is, where did you find these FAQ's, so that I am able to refer back to this location when I want to in the future? I wasn't able to find any reference to mobile app FAQ's in the desktop version, nor was I able to find any info on mobile app FAQ's when perusing the mobile website. Just curious, so that I can better utilize what WGT offers. Am going to study the info you sent me this very minute. Thanks again Scott

    You're welcome Jym, thank you.

The route to get to these mobile FAQs is a bit of a faff and WGT could make them a little easier to find but, in case my profile page with the link goes missing, here's how to get to them...

Click the pictures to view them full size and follow the links indicated. The first link can be accessed at either the left of a forum page, or the bottom of any WGT page.

Hope that all makes sense.  : )

EDIT : Not sure why I didn't suggest adding that help page to your favourites Jym, but sometimes I'm so busy looking for the solution that I don't realise I'm standing right in the damn middle of it, lol.
