  Hello casique, I assume you meant dormie, I recently asked that question and received this answer.

  A term used exclusively in match play when a player is ahead by the same number of holes that remain. So that person that is losing needs to win every hole from then on out in order to tie.

  The term dormie is rather controversial, both when it comes to its exact meaning, and regarding its origin.

  According to the about.com Golf guide, WGT is not using the term entirely properly:

  about.com Golf guide:

  When extra holes are used to settle a tie [...], then "dormie" doesn't apply since matches cannot be halved.

  As we know, at WGT.com, a tied match-play game automatically goes to Sudden Death, so...
