Once again the disconnects and game freezes are back.  You just fixed some problems with the latest update and old problems seem to reappear.

Also some of the putting grids are experiencing problems.  The grid balls are traveling in one direction, and the putts break in the complete opposite direction.  This is happening on many courses.

How long will it take to address these issues?  This is costing money, patience, and most importantly, enjoyment of the game.

    Thanks,

    Civman

Have you cleared the browser and Flash caches, just to eliminate that possible source?

Thursday Night EST before the downtime

started getting a lot of lags, clicking the ding or nearly, lol, and then waiting anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds for my avatar to actually hit the ball, the meter all green and stopped where I clicked. I was playing multi stroke with two every night mates, myself in New York, and fellow players in Tennessee and Australia that I have played practically every night with for years. They also got the delay effect waiting for my av to hit, AND, they also experienced the same lag when they were hitting. Did not happen every stroke but did on many of them, including putts. Blamed it on the crew messing around with stuff before the actual downtime started, lol.

    Friday Night during the Clash

Got the same issue when playing a few solo games, (not clash games) and then again when playing multis with my friends, they too still had the issue. This time I blamed it on the Clash creating overloads.

Saturday afternoon and evening during the Clash

Same issues, oh well, the Crash is almost over.

    Sunday

had a busy day, got home and realized I had a bracket game to play and 18 minutes left to play it but no worries, the Crash is over. Right. Got the lag on almost every shot, somehow managed to finish the game with less than a minute to deadline.

I don't have Flash set to auto update. I had just updated it a week ago to v. 31.0.0.121 but checked again for the heck of it and there was another update available already to v.31.0.0.148 so I updated again.

Played an 18 hole tournament for my CDP pass game and did not have a single lag. Played with my friends an hour later, all happily telling them I have the cure and they were already updated to the Flash I had just updated before this crap started. Sure enough, we play a few games and the lag is back in full force.

What is going on here WGT? Any solutions?

I have cleared the browser and flash caches.  I always do that before I begin play on WGT.  There is something wrong in the game itself.  This has happened to other players, while we are playing together, so I know its not just limited to me.

A lot of long time players in my club are confirming they have the same issue and that it started a day or two before the down time last week.

Got worse / more regular for me too since about one week (since around 14th.Nov, I think)

Skins game today... on hole 17 with skins on a carry forward. Played my chip (dinged it) with about 15s left to go, thinking it has a chance of going close or in...

...screen freezes, ...ball doesn't get moved... all frozen except the timer clock happily runs down and times me out... lol -  2nd time out due to screen freeze with timer continued run down in game, so I'm disqualified...  gr8, possible skins & credits recovery gone.

Windows 10 just had a new build(1809) and there may be a problem with the internet connection if they did not put out an updated version.

I got mine yesterday and took most of the afternoon to finish.

…various cleanup programmes miss one or two or more of the caches eg. on windows often here: (the AppData folders are hidden folders - can only see  if you turn on/tick    .. view .. hidden items    -  in directory explorer)

FLASH PLAYER: can remove/delete everything completely from under here normally (flash will recreate what it needs):

    …C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player

    If CHROME on pc/laptop:

(normally ok to delete all files from under these sub-directories, no come-backs if does something odd on your specific machine - if in doubt make a copy so you can put them back if something screws up with the browser after cleaning out, but would be very unusual)

    … C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\ShaderCache\GPUCache

    … C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PnaclTranslationCache

    … C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default....   – empty these sub-directories…

            ...\Cache   ...\Media Cache  ...\GPUCache  ...\Application Cache

              ... \Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\CacheWritableAdobeRoot

              ... \Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot

& ... Separate record that CHROME creates and is an unnecessary record usually: - I delete all except most recent one under here: …C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Crashpad\reports

& WINDOWS - PLUS windows CRYPTNET Url cache - I clear that ca. weekly

Most likely not directly related, but effectively a list of websites you've been to (!) – something to do with website/webpage certificates validity but is a hidden record of where you've been: I delete all the files from under here (hundreds, ... or maybe thousands of files)

    … C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content

    … C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\MetaData
