First let me say that I am an average putter.

I am also Jekyll 'n Hyde when it comes to the different play formats, i.e.  Match or Alt Sht and strokeplay.  In strokeplay i am awful, simply awful, but can be brilliant in A Shot.

So I am for the next 2 weeks gonna keep a list of all missed putts length only, but categorise them into Match play and stroke.

The total footage will be massive I am sure.

If anyone else wants to try and do similar and post their results here I am sure it would make interesting analysis.

I wanna be a better putter.  I do practice but it does not seem to help.

The theory is that it is a mental thing

I think I see your problem, lack of binocular vision is preventing you reading the putt properly.

It lasted one and a half days...got sick of marking down all the putts i missed, too many too mention.

Shortly after that OP I did a 29 round Kiawah front with seven straight birdies and two makeable putts on #8 'n #9 for a 27.

It's a loada bollucks this putting lark, no science to it, no mathematics, just feel.
