I know your pain! The higher you get the harder it gets to make a decent score. However, don't lose hope. You have to adjust your playing to suit your new level. I have tried new balls and then gone back to the generic ones only to score higher. Go figure. If you have played this long, you must be good. Take a break and come back. All the great ones do!
