    wrote my first post,it said since it was my first a moderator would need to read it .its been 45 mjns.cant find post anywhere.im afraid as soon as i post this post same thing will happen .would like answer on first post

    Do not worry, you are all set to go. We moderate for inappropriate language and things of that nature, but we still need to go through these so that is why you won't usually see it post immediately.

    So what is the figure, how many posts are needed before a poster comes off moderation? I seem to have been posting for ages but still on moderation.

    When I joined, I was told the number is around 35 to 40. Nevertheless, it's not automatic. As Don notes above, at that point, you can simply post to a moderator's wall and ask to be taken off moderation. That's what I had to do. I had over 40 posts and hadn't been taken off moderation.

    Golly Robert. I should start cleaning my glasses before reading the forums. Initially I thought you said, "I had over 40 posts and hadn't been taken off medication."
