I used to use Opera browser, now I use Chrome, but still I get people in chat during a game using keystrokes to symbolise an emoticon.
The thing is I don't get an emoticon displayed , I just get :) or :( which is bloody annoying.
I do know some of them but not all and I have no intention of learning anymore.
Is it me or do other people get an emoticon properly displayed.. I have nothing personal against emoticons, it's just that if everyone knows they are not displayed, then why in God's name type them out in the first place.
