Sounds like the Moondogs. Lots of tournaments and really competitive.

Yeah right - you joined the Yorkshire County club, which has 240 members and 20 comps on the go permanently, and left within three hours of joining!

Hard to imagine someone leaving your club. Everyone Ive met from it have been super nice and excellent players.

Very possible he joined your country club, saw the scores you guys post in your club tourneys and decided to move on to a "less"competitive club.   Can't blame him for moving along if that was the case.

I prefer being in a club where I'm competitive, neither dominating, nor bench warmer.   If I can win one every now and then, I'm tickled.

Dianne - Hanswurst is right! And you'd be a welcome 'catch' for any club! (And thank you for the lovely comment and observation)

Clubs are only allowed of a max of ten free and ten premium tournaments Mr Munro. Add to that the fact that we constantly arrange and play inter-club tournaments, as well as in-house champtionships and I'm not sure what you expect to find. I do know you couldn't possibly find out everything in the three hours you were a member and that you didn't post any questions or even send a 'sorry - it's not for me message.' Maybe if you posted what you're looking for, club owners can respond appropriately and you can save yourself some time by not joining and leaving another 20 clubs.

Club owners put in a lot of time and effort in my experience; there's nothing more annoying than being treated in an off-hand kind of way; hence my response.
