Well I beg to differ sir.  I started round playing tournament slow. On the 2nd hole I was above the hole with 15 ft putt and 5 inches of decreasing elevation.  I approached the putt as tournament slow.  If it wasn't tournament slow the ball would most likely gone 6 ft by, it only went 2 ft by.

If you are putting a regular tournament green and you have a 20 ft putt, and the hole is 7 inches below.  There is significant difference in how hard you need to hit the ball without going 6 ft by.

Unfortunately the fact I was given the green speed did change at the 11th hole.   As wgticon indicated the speeds of the greens are hard-coded, and there should not have been a change through-out the entire round.

Since the development is still in beta, I should report such an observation, because there has to be something wrong.

We play and make observations on our clubs, balls, and how they interact with the wind, etc, etc.  How much spin is applied to give a desired result within a certain degree of uncertainty.  We all make mistakes and goof on a shot.  But when you are very conscious of a certain shot and you have executed that shot thousands of times you know with certainty what the outcome should approximately be.  Thus, when I said the green speed changed during the round, there was no mistake, it did!

    cheers

Infinito, I certainly hope that WGT will pay some attention to a player with your credentials. I have made many comments on what I thought has changed on here. Knowing that I am just another cash cow to WGT I don't expect a response on my gripes. They damn sure better start paying attention to players like yourself and several of the other upper tier players on here. When you get the absolute best players on here starting to doubt the game it sure is hard for the run of the mill players to want to continue to spend money to improve their ranking on here. I'm just to damn stupid I guess to take a break or give up. I just keep thinking it will get better. I have played 48 rounds of golf on 5 different real courses this year and I have improved on all of them. This by knowing where to stay out of trouble and when to lay up. Doesn't seem to matter any more on here. I lost less than 70 golf balls in 864 holes of golf. I have lost more than that on here in 3 months. Mostly by them just wearing out. Still love this game, but is it still as close as you get to real golf? Any constructive comments by anyone will be appreciated. Any smart A$ comments will fall on deaf ears.

one of the best players ever, who now works for WGT has posted his response.    What else do you want?

As to you improving here, you missed an opportunity to play with Bollox, doh!  Other then that not sure what you are doing, other then flooding the forums with garbage and constant posts of pure insanity.   So maybe you need a break?

    Cheers,

rofl........better watch man.....he'll be wishing the fleas of a 1000 camels infest your pubes and you have to slide stark bollock naked down a razor blade into a pool of hot salty water to get rid of them...

as for green speeds...well i'll leave that upto Shades & Restore cause these guys know their putting and are accurate to within a few pixels.
