  I don't know that WGT is throwing curveballs at us but I'm about to the point that unless it's a raging head to tail or side to side wind I will tend to disregard, or minimize, the wind correction, at least until I see the wind is actually making a difference again. All sorts of "where's the wind?" yesterday in AS matches still has me wondering what's going on.

  the winds have become very inconsistent lately i have seen - eg congressional #11 10mph wind right to left (away from the water) so u hang it out a bit right cos itll blow left a bit - wot do u know ding the shot and it goes straight as an arrow into the water. par3s at RSG - u can have side winds of 14mph that do nothing. par3s at kiawah u can have a 4mph wind blow your shot 9yards left or right. wot da. its pretty much face palm territory.

  This is what's confusing, sometimes when a shot goes long, i think its the wind that's disappeared, (happens a lot when you aim sideways as well and ball land where you have aimed),  but it could also be the bug with caddy, another shot i got now i changed to my 125 pw punched, which is 108 yards, in 20 mph headwind, a punched shot wouldn't usually get effected as much as full swing, for 100 yards a full swing might get effected 10 yards shorter, whilst a punched shot might get 6 yards shorter in 20 mph headwind., my punched shot earlier in ready go only went 78 yards which is a shortfall of 30 yards!!! I might have scored a 57 if it wasn't for this LOL.....

  I'm noticing more and more random shots with the wind (more so in challenge matches)

  i find that true on all the courses , execp  st. andrews, royal---wind does not show up on alot holes and when you ajust , you get 30 ft. diff. some hole will have wind ,others show wind but don't have wind.  drives me crasy.
