I don't get the logic. If credits don't matter, why not just play ranked/scored/alt shot games and not even look at the tourney lobby?

The logic there is you have to play the R/Go's to afford the balls needed to do well in this game, without paying money.

    1. Congressional

    2. RSG

    3. Beth Page

    4 St. Andrews

    5 Kiawah

Looks like you missed a bit...

1st Round: Congressional (83 points) - complete round by 8/16
2nd Round: Royal St. George (67 points) - complete round by 8/23
3rd Round: Bethpage Black (56 points) - complete round by 8/30
4th Round: St. Andrews (48 points) - complete round by 9/6
5th Round: Kiawah (42 points) - complete round by 9/13

(out of the running: Oakmont - 41 points, Cabo - 5 points)

Lost out by a measly point. So, IMO, St A's, Kiawah and Strokemont tie in 4th. A bigger test group (100 ought to do it from each tier, no hacks) would show the most favourite courses.

    Just say'n...

Well, as a Legend, you should know why SA and Kaiwah are at the bottom..and most of those (if not all?) in the Hustle are Legends.

Very true, I had the same thought. Andys can be quite frustrating in MP against a TM/M if you are a Legend. I get a lot of donations from TM's on the front 9 (they'll easily bet a good amount thinking they have the advantage... which they do - but if I have my putting on they can't keep up. I almost always win #2 - funny how that works, I'm hitting my 6i and they have a wedge.. lol - often this in itself will drive them nuts and they crumble.  If I can win or half #4 from there I'm smiling. 5,6,7,8 are no problem (unless they eagle 5). Often I don't get to #9. (win or lose! ha!) I do have some awful rounds there, but it's fun despite starting 60 yards back on a few holes.

The back on the other hand..... I don't play against TM's - unless I'm just feeling generous. That said, it is one of my favorite 9's to play.

Kia back 9 is my personal favorite. I just love the challenge from the tips. I DO NOT enter kia back 9 RG's. I'd much rather just enjoy a round than feel pressure to shoot a 29.

I don't like Kia in the rotation for this reason. Funny, my favorite, but I don't want it in RG's. Interesting how opinions can vary.

Even if 1 particular course was 90% of the peoples favorite to play, it shouldn't mean that that course sits forever in the rotation.

3 random courses every few weeks would suit me fine. They may want to change things a bit if they are going to keep the rotation the same for 1 month, i dunno. I guess we'll just see, now won't we?

Cabo del sol is now on the ready go list. For all the slating it's got over recent months the front 9 filled up in about an hour and the back 9 is not far behind.

This tells me that the ready go's are all about variety. How about the ready go's get changed weekly. Or each week 1 goes off and another different 1 goes on. There's 6 courses after all and would be good to have it changed more frequently so everyone didn't have to wait a whole month for their favorite one to come round again.

Excellent decision to include Cabo, both 9s make for interesting RG tournaments. Just make sure you're below the hole on 18, I just hit a 3 foot putt 22 feet, lol....

Take a look at the rotation for the current Hustle. These were voted on by the participants.

    1. Congressional

    2. RSG

    3. Beth Page

    4 St. Andrews

    5 Kiawah

Notice Oakmont is not there either?

I'd assume CCC and RSG are at the top because the past few months they've been over played from Open Quals, so everyone is more comfortable with them.

BPB sets up (IMO) for the most part, a bit easier as a Legend than as a Master/TM.

Regardless, SA is and always will be fun..i/e yesterdays Legend F9 at SA I shot a 30, today a 35...it's just a fun course to play and I agree, it's be nice to see it stay in the rotation.

What is the 'Hustle'? excuse my ignorance.

Yes, Cong and Rsg were Open courses, so I say they would get voted in.

For some strange reason, I can't explain...but I don't like Congressional at all...lol. Rsg is not that bad and I don't mind playing it.

    Here is my list...

    1. St.Andrews, Won all my R/Go's on this course (as a TM), off the Blacks I think is more playable... not too worried about driving into weeds on some of the holes now.

    2. Beth Page,  This used to be my hardest course, The L79 Burners make it very playable now, even in heavy winds.

    3. Oakmont ... Evil Greens, Kills me most of the time, but call me stupid.. I enjoy playing it...lol

    4. Kiawah, If I can get around my amen corner (4th,5th) with at least 1 birdie on em, I'm happy...lol.

    5. RSG, scored my lowest round(58) in Open Qualifying.

    6. Congressional, Don't like it... Still play it in Multi-Player games, but that's it.

    7. Cabo... Not Sure, Don't play it at all...except for the first time when it came in..hate the graphics..... Just noticed tnite it was a R/Go.. might play it now...maybe

    Cheers

I like the different RNG, not fun playing the same ones over and over, maybe more tier based RnG, mostly Legends win and could be good for the other tiers to have a shot too, i said that when i was a TM and still think so.

Good rotation and different setups is essential i think.

Nice to see Cabo, didnt play it before cuz of the greenfee, so thats good.

That'll teach you not to putt with a driver.

To add to the discussion, St Andrews is always the first one I look for. I used to hate Bethpage but with the right clubs in the bag it is now enjoyable. Royal St George has a different set of challenges which I like.

Heck, I love 'em all. But usually only have time to play the 9-hole version.

The Legend RGs with the Championship speed greens are the best. When I occassionally joing the non-legend variety and pick-up a Very Fast or Fast green, I can hardly bring myself to give it enough power and I wince as the putter connects expecting it to shoot off the green - and the damage it must be doing to my poor ball !

I haven't tried Cabo yet - there's just something about the cartoony appearance that holds me back. No doubt I'll have a bash sooner rather than later.

    Best of luck everyone!
