I Don't know. I think the slight issue here or there, like a meter jump, has been around for so long it's part of the game. It's happened to all of us. But also for those of us who torture ourselves playing this game as well as real life golf will know that sometimes in mid swing a gust of wind picks up, or perhaps a car alarm goes off. In some ways...the meter jumping can be considered almost the same kind of distraction that goes hand in hand with attempting to test your skills with any kind of game.
The energy used in venting your frustrations about it might be rewarding to some people in some way. But I feel that it happens...It just happened...it WILL happen again...Lets get on with it. Don't see any posts about someone complaining, "I missed the ding completely because of a meter jump and potted an eagle". Because it would be silly to complain about luck...
Luck is part of the game, so is skill...so are unfortunate errors, bugs, and distractions like car alarms.
My approach is to focus on what you're trying to do rather than finding problems that you have no power to control...Rather attempt to harness your craft and concentration as well as adaptation, than spend too much energy harboring bitterness and frustration which is basically allowing "problems" and "complaints" to live rent free in your head.
We almost had a thread of completely positive remarks, Damn so close too. I'll try think of a better title next time for my post. "Whats RIGHT with this site" was far too cryptic a title it seems.
