Hi all, need a little help or input if possible. Have only been a member 10 days or so but have picked up quite a lot by reading posts, tips and watching videos etc but every now and then contrary to what's expected a shot goes totally astray. It happens off the tee and even making more than generous allowances for extreme strength cross winds a ball can fly into rough the opposite way!
Is it possible that the quality of equipment ( still on starter + irons and EZ swing woods) is a factor? I am using a bit better quality ball ( srixon extra spin ) but it's bugging me not knowing what's causing it as it only happens now and again. ( once today on a 9 hole challenge - St Andrews, - once in an 18 hole stroke play yesterday at the Congressional)
