All the prizes, that are non credit, hats, trips, etc. are included in earnings, the actual cash value of the prize is used.

As for cashing out by buying from the ELITE collection, sure if you want to pay the biggest premium in the history of the world you can cash out.  For example a $250 gift card at Amazon only takes 165,000 credits which would cost you $1,650 if you bought them.

It's not really paying a premium if you got your start winning some credits in one of the free tournaments.  Wasn't saying that it was smart, just pointing out that you can "cash out".. after all if it was free to start with, there is no such thing as a premium.  I personally wouldn't go that route though..

hmmm may be... Inflation, exchange rate, currency depreciation.... lol... What ever it is, is insane..... BUT...

... May be it is a way to prevent more cheating on the game. We already have a lot of sandbaggers and multy accounters... imagine how it would be if they can really earn some money, a lot of money: An amateur shoting 25-30 under par 3 to 5 times per day  in ready to go's until he tier up to Tour pro just to create a new account and start all over again. They would be able to stop working and make WGT a job or income place.

But it's just what I think, may be there is another reason... who knows

This is why I play for money just to pay for balls and upgrade equipement every now and then when I have luck in a C.C Tournament. All the other time Im here, I'm playing just for fun and enjoying with friends.

    Cheers

I can't do the ready go's, match play for credit or the premium tournaments due to my state but I doubt I would do it anyway.  I'm here for fun and not to make money off my fellow players.  If you are trying to make enough money to pay for clubs and balls, then I have no issue with that but if you are trying to win enough credits to cash out or willing to create multiple accounts so you can take advantage of other WGT players then I have no use for you.  In terms of the premium on the Elite items, I still stand by what I said, you are paying a huge premium for them, I believe 7x face value.  If you end up with a huge number of credits I can understand it but even so I would suggest that if you have 100k extra credits you could gift some balls for your friends at say a 50% discount payable via PAYPAL.   WGT probably wouldn't like that too much but much better way to get your sinnings out than buying the ELITE items.
