Hello out there! I've been playing a lil over a month and I have read that I need to ditch the hybrid for a 3rd wedge. Why?

And what wedges actually make a difference.

I have seen Legends playing with starter clubs.

I suck but have made tour pro. Just need some help with the wedge questions.

Thanks in advance for your time.

You can save yourself a lot of shots with a good short game...you need wedges for that.

So even if I have paid for clubs myself and have extras I can't gift them to another player for free even tho I've already paid for them??????

You are level 74, so some of this is for future.

Forget the hybrid.  You should be able to buy an iron set where the hybrid should be irrelevant especially if you hit fairways on the drive.

Wedges basically com sets and I strongly recommend buying the matching  set.

    There are 2 spreads ... 60..80..100 versus 50..75..100.

I personally like the former but I am not arguing with anyone that prefers the the latter.  I have been using the Titleist (Cleveland when I bought them) when I was level 82, and I am level 137 now.

So knowing what I know now, I would upgrade your irons and buy the Titleist wedges availalbe at levels 76-80, and sell back the hybrid.

    Tom.

    Read the T&Cs:

You payed for a license which allows YOU exclusively to use them as long as they accept you as a customer.

The only option to get rid of them is to sell them back to WGT at 25%. You may then send gifts to other players via the Pro Shop.
