  My kids pooled their resources and sent me a complete set of starter equipment and an unlimited supply of starter balls.....I look at this gesture very sentimentally ..:)

  No. Only the player receiving the gifted item has to be at the level requirement.

  Also looking at 5poiler’s profile, it appears he managed to gift the items.
