  Observations:

  I have used every putter BUT the old Ghost.  I thought the 2010 Redwood was better than the Rossa, and I never tried the old Ghost because it had the same specs as the 2010 Redwood for a lot more credits at a lot later level, so...

  I now use the L66 Ghost Spider, and I fully intend to use the L92 Ghost Spider when I get there.  The L66 is, for me, BY FAR the best putter I have used.  It has every bit the precision AND forgiveness that the 2010 Redwood did with a much slower meter.  As a player who plays almost exclusively curves on the greens (as opposed to dings), I can hit my mental mark on the meter consistently.  While I am putting about the same from 25'+, from 20' and in I am much, much better with the Ghost Spider.

  Unless, that is, it's just a bad day.  On those days, I couldn't knock a beach ball into a lake off a dock with an oar.

  But folks, what about the level 35 Spider Ghost? The precision etc. are on balance with the "old" Ghost or Daytona, but the speed is glacial. (All this based on the stats. Am about to face the issue of buying the fancy S.Gh.)

  well so far not happy with the new ghost, the forgiveness I was looking for is not there.( the width of the ding line ) but I'm stuck with it already sold my old ghost.

  Moral ( Don't believe everything you here, and only half of what you read ) Just glad I didn't pay $ 2400 for it .

  I think I see something here, Gary. I know what you're talking about because before the Ghost came along I used the Master Redwood and used to put that way. The putter forgave those close mishits and was comfortable to use.

  When I got the Ghost I had a really hard time at first because it forgives entirely different. The best way I can think of to explain this is by saying you need to miss by  more than you're used to. Try it. Line up the putts the way you've been, including what you plan to miss by. Then, miss by twice what you thought. You will see what I mean.

  Personally, I can't get comfortable missing to aim any more. The 92 Ghost made dinging the norm instead of the exception. Invariably, the misses coincide with how much you missed the ding by.

  The Level 84 putter was so fast that I had to give up the Ghost.

  OK, had a good night last night putter seems to be adapting to me (LOL).
