For your wedge…decision time. The Vokey 64° has a rated distance of 60 yards, the Max has 50 yds. The Vokey would compliment your other two wedges by giving you a preferred by many 100/80/60 yardage spread. The 64° has great versatility and can produce shots from 6 yds (pitch) to 63 yds (top spin). I don’t think you would be disappointed with that particular club.
The driver and 3 wd are, at least to me, personal preference. What do you feel comfortable with and yes, you are correct, it would best to try out a few during a free rental weekend. You are probably approaching legend tier at which you will definitely need a driver upgrade. So you have some time in which to try out various clubs; no need to rush on these two.
Ball selection is a matter of personal preference and is not as important now as it is at lvl 97 when the higher end irons become available. At that time you will definitely want to spend some time selecting the ball that will work best with the irons you use at that point. For now, like Leslie suggests, try out a number of them and use whichever one is within your budget and performs the way you want in the matches/rounds you choose to play. When you reach the level at which you will invest in your “final” set of irons you will then want to do some serious ball evaluation. You will be looking for a ball that compliments your irons and provides consistent results. It is not uncommon that your evaluation for “the ball” will be narrowed down to either TItleist or TM.
