My pick this week is going to be Shane Lowry.
As for my faourite story (as has already been mentioned by others), it has to be Phil M's tee shot onto the par 3 17th, and then the bird, as if to say "no way are you going to be on the green", picks up his ball, flies off... and promptly drops it into the water :D
Never did I think I would ever see anything like that again, but about 5 years ago I was playing at Prestatyn GC, a links course on the North Welsh coast. As you will have guessed from the 2 UK links courses we have here at WGT - the wind blows! Anyway, the 4th hole is a long par 4, over 440yds and usually into a brutal wind (that's why it is Stroke Index 2, i.e. 2nd hardest hole on the course), and if you have any side-spin on the ball it will veer off into the rough. And that's exactly what happened to my ball - ended up in the right rough. Not a problem, I saw where it landed. As I was heading towards it there was a bird close by to where it landed. Not a problem I thought, the bird would fly away when I got close. But to my horror, as I got closer, it picked up my ball and flew forward about 20 yards, then placed the ball back on the ground. Thinking that would be the end of it, I headed towards the ball to pick it up and replace it where it originally landed. But the bird had other ideas... as I got close, it picked the ball up once again, and this time just flew off with it. The problem I had now was that I no longer knew where it originally landed, so with it being a stableford competition I just gave up the hole. It was a pity becuase I had par'd the first 3 holes and was feeling good about my game.
